The chilaquiles here are incomparable. Organic thick corn chips covered in avocado and soft scrambled eggs... But when the Baja style fish tacos are served, get them! Primavera is around Saturday mornings at the market.

The teleme scarpinocc with aceto balsamico transported me back to the cheese room of a parmigiano maker near Modena. Needless to say, most pastas are quite outstanding, and even the non-flour-based dishes can shine.
Want to see what "fake chicken" made from gluten is like, complete with a tofu skin and wrapped around a "bone".

New Thai place (Feb 2014) from famous food personality Pim Techamuanvivit (aka "Chez Pim"), they make everything (except for shrimp paste) in house, but on an early visit, several dishes fell short.
Tuscan-Californian since 1998. Now a mini-empire, they've also opened a few Pizzeria Delfinas, and Locanda.
Amazing moderately priced simple, rustic Italian by the owners of Quince, next door. All wine is $10 a glass, $40 a bottle.
