The best example of modern hospitality I may have ever seen. Old world charms, with thoroughly up-to-date sensibilities. The kitchen feels like having a personal chef in your own home, and Niklas is a passionate, down-to-earth sommelier who can guide you just as easily through their cellar list as to the latest spots in town. A luxury on many levels, hard to do it justice without experiencing yourself.

Literally the "back pocket" of the Opera. Love this café. Go for Old Timey appeal and classic Swedish fare. Hearty, beautifully cooked. Fresh horseradish upon request. Highly recommend.

The women's store. Filled with international designers like commes des garçons and helmut Lang along with the store's proprietary brand. Great quality shoes, sweaters, and other understated clothing in muted colors.
Cozy bakery with brilliant lighting. Equipped with fresh-made breads of all sizes and wheats along with excellent pastries like saffron bulle, etc.
Well-curated store carrying indie magazines, books, notebooks, and DVDs.
Acne studios outlet! The brand's clothing, shoes, denim, coats, and accessories for half the original Swedish price(, which is increased when imported to the U.S.).
You know the falafel place is good when there's a healthy queue

Hearth-based cooking. A couple of prix-fixe options. Small form plating left me feeling food was a bit too handled. Overall good flavors. Counter seating with view of the action.
