Iconic spot to visit. Concerts in evening. If you’re here extended time, and you want to sneak in a challenging run w/scenic destination- also recommend ;)
Asian-French cuisine. Fun vibe. Blocks from the water. The toast is insane, but so was the roasted lamb & meatballs.

Santa Monica food/bev friend recommended - want to go. WEHO
This place is amazing. It’s big with a general area plus a few bungalow homes adjacent with fire places, separate bars etc. Great place across from water in Santa Monica. Highly recommend.

Speak easy but not so secretive. Long lines. Hip crowd. Great spot if you don’t mind a little wait.
Arrived after 12. Place was busting at seams. A high energy ambience - good mix of crowd. Great drinks.

Long line. Fortunately knew someone - but worth the wait as once you’re up there it’s a vibing, sexy view surrounded by the Hollywood Hills
Crowded but fun vibe & crowd. Eat beforehand.

Great whiskey bar - perfect if your dining in DTLA & need a “next place.”
David Gelb (director of Jiro Dreams of Sushi) says the quality of the sushi here is consistently high, one of his top spots in LA. Now a mini-empire with multiple locations. Want to go. The flautas are great. A good little spot - one of LA's best chefs told me it's his favorite place to eat lunch.
Want to go.
From the guys who did Animal, a great little spot on 3rd street. Mostly seafood but a mix of everything. Each dish we tried for lunch was excellent, most of all the fried chicken sandwich.

Interior that sets quite a buzzy scene for their Italian small plates menu - solid cooking, though you'll find yourself here equally for the people watching. Their takeout counter next door is excellent. Recommended by Domenica Peterson.
Small bites. Drinks. Great vibe. Share food & convo... Place packs it in! (Oh-- and possibly a celeb sighting or two)
Delicious Carbonara, pizzas-- enormous space packed with people.
Incredible shop for Japanese housewares. After about five minutes in here I worry that I'll buy a shipping container and take the entire store with me back to San Francisco.
Beautiful shop. Bring your coffee. Stay awhile.
Beautiful location.
In the grand central market. Coffee options too.
Men's store too!
Boutique-ish & hip.
Of course.
French toast is divine and scrambled egg is soooooft
