They took the Vegas part of Yountvegas very seriously. An intense sensory experience. Not for me, but I'm sure some will love it - a golden tasting room experience with an array of sights and aromas. Service was hospitable and quite kind.

One of the small handful of sparkling wine producers in Napa, offering amazing views of the valley floor indoor or out.

Modern vibe tucked into nature, good views, decent bubbles and poor service. Sometimes the view outweighs the bad service.

Some of my favorite wines being made in California today. Their Merlot shows what beautiful things you can do with under-appreciated varietals. They also do some much more adventurous bottlings, like a dry furmint and a refosco (both of which I can't wait to try).

A gem in sleepy Glen Ellen. Ex-TFL Ari Weiswasser offers wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and salads. Housemade ice cream sold by pint (not their forte). Delicious, cozy. A great find and option in this quiet corner of Sonoma.
