Want to go.
It's really here!!!! The only reason I would tell someone not to go see @chefmiminashi is to ensure I would be able to get a seat. We are truly lucky to have a place like #miminashi in Napa. What are you doing?! Go now! #remarkable
So good. Oysters in wine country.
A great place for oysters on the half shell and some wine. Tuesday happy hour is the best!
They took the Vegas part of Yountvegas very seriously. An intense sensory experience. Not for me, but I'm sure some will love it - a golden tasting room experience with an array of sights and aromas. Service was hospitable and quite kind.
One of the small handful of sparkling wine producers in Napa, offering amazing views of the valley floor indoor or out.
Modern vibe tucked into nature, good views, decent bubbles and poor service. Sometimes the view outweighs the bad service.
A heavily marketed winery filled to the gills with tourists. Wine and food are not strong, but the outdoor area is nice.
Surprise meal with @mmolesky and @culturebywhisk at Ad Lib #tkrg #napavalley #recommend
A winery with beautiful views and skeet shooting
A great winery from a good southern dude.
Recommended.
A small market with good sandwiches, big ranch farms, and it's close to Oxbow!
A great outdoors space for hikes, mountain biking, disc golf, or trail runs. Amazing views at the top.
A great charcuterie with raw, cured, and cooked cuts of pork, duck, chicken, and more. Great mortadella!
Some of my favorite wines being made in California today. Their Merlot shows what beautiful things you can do with under-appreciated varietals. They also do some much more adventurous bottlings, like a dry furmint and a refosco (both of which I can't wait to try).
Incredibly popular small producer in Napa! Fun interesting wine. The vermouth won't disappoint!
Via SF Gate - Larkmead's Napa Valley cab was one of their Top Wines of 2013, "a great example of modern Napa done right."
Home to a great wine maker (Dan Petroski) a high tech, well supported winery.
A gem in sleepy Glen Ellen. Ex-TFL Ari Weiswasser offers wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and salads. Housemade ice cream sold by pint (not their forte). Delicious, cozy. A great find and option in this quiet corner of Sonoma.
Simple. Wood fired food. A good grab if you're in the neighborhood.
Organic, biodynamic winemaker; beautiful tasting room and grounds. Big fan of their vin gris.
A favorite in the valley - great wines, service, views, and bites.
A spot on bistro. Great service and wonderful feel and delicious simple French fare. A favorite from TKRG
Fifth meal here. Current chef de cuisine Dave Breedan is showing a more classical base. Strong, bold flavors. Jaw-dropping presentations. (Disclaimer: I am VIP here. Not the normal menu experience.)
The catalyst for new American fine dining. A truly important restaurant. The food is good too!
Ohhhhhh sooo goooood
Want to go.
My go to spot for upvalley cocktails and bites. (New chef as of June 2015 - will update soon)
A landmark restaurant serving large portions and great sunsets.
Highly rated by New York Times, nouveau French country cuisine
Highly recommended restaurant in Sonoma. High volume spot, with a decent lunch.
Want to go. Oldest family winery in CA.
One of the oldest wineries in CA. Beautiful property and they even host concerts in summer and fall.
A beautiful space with great outdoor seating and comfortable service. Get the ham biscuits!
A fun takeout spot in Napa. Great simple Italian and a good wine, beer, and booze selection.
Why haven't you visited yet! Much more than grape juice.
The restaurant of celebrity chef Michael Chiarello. Good cocktails, wine list, and pasta, but the yountville price tag is real.
A truly beautiful winery to visit. Make a reservation in advance and enjoy their wines and veggies from their garden.
Good burgers, fries, and sodas. Is that what you came to Napa for?
A classic winery on the land of the To Kalon vineyard, arguably the most legendary American vines in existence.
A delicious (and ridiculously popular) bakery and cafe, brought to you by Thomas Keller and Co.
A nationally known bakery and rightfully so. Locals can get coffee/tea via the side entrance!
Trinity lane to Oakville Grade // a gorgeous way to get from Somona to Napa.
A sports bar in St Helena. Combine those things and you'll get what you expect. They're new and sure to improve.
There are amazing views, and an appointment only winery/farm at the top!
An amazing wine shop to find a bottle for dinner or build a customer cellar. These folks know who makes the good stuff. Make an an apt and bring your wallet because everything I've tasted there I've wanted.
Simply prepared rustic italian food. Same owners as Atlas Social and Norman Rose Tavern.
Simple small plates, good wines, comfortable, lively atmosphere.,
A unique shop for home decor and interior design. Very nicely done.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in the United States.
A beautiful and easy hike with a dog park and on and off leash sections.
A simple - delicious - from scratch sandwich delivery in Napa.
A great place for a coffee, wine, cheese, or anything culinary.
A great place for mediocre service and a tasty brunch. Eggs bene and chicken and waffles looked great.
This is my favorite place for a trail run with great views, wildlife, and a good balance of challenges and rewards.
A wonderful local bookstore selling new and use books. Super nice employees too.
The best produce around. They basically cherry pick the best farmers markets around and have it in one place.
I love the espresso drinks here. Not too sweet, not too acidic.
