I love it
Great higher-end dim sum, though I don't think the black cod is worth it. Shanghai, seafood dumplings all the way. Takeout window at the side is a great quick lunch option - via @eatdrinksf (Instagram)

Legendary independent bookstore and publisher, founded by poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti in the 1950s; a San Francisco institution, intertwined with the Beat poetry movement and local progressive politics. Photo via @karolinedd on Instagram.

Great place in West Marin to take in the sunset.
Perfect sunset
The east and west spans are each beautiful in their own way. Even though overshadowed by the Golden Gate, they certainly do the Bay Area proud. Stunning Bay Lights installation coming back in 2016.
Fantastic views
Zach opens up his garage door nearly every Friday morning to prepare cappuccinos with beans from local roasters. 1 part morning caffeine fix, 2 parts community building! (11 Feb 2015)
Classic. Full House full circle. (31 May 2015)
Beautiful place to take in SF flowers.
Stunning landmark in Nob Hill, worth visiting for the architecture and the labyrinth inside. They also host donation-based yoga on Tuesdays at 6pm - #onlyinSF. Via Chelsea Rustrum.
An SF classic. Love the architecture, lobby bar is good for meetings - grab a drink or sit down for a couple hours' work.
Best Irish coffee!

Incredible berries at Swanton this week! (19 Apr 2014)

Good!!!
Don't be fooled by the divey-looking Lung Shan restaurant exterior, Danny Bowien cooks some delicious Chinese food here. Generous portions, and they really give back to the neighborhood. Just watch out for General Tso's veal rib! Delicious but possibly the hottest dish I've ever eaten...

The great American past time in one of the US's best ball parks.
Best baseball park... Awesome views
High quality ingredients, expert cooking. Luxury in simplicity. My highest recommendation. (Disclosure: I'm writing the cookbook with chef J. Skenes.)

Time and again my favorite breakfast spot in the city. Amaryll Schwertner's menu us concise. Top-shelf ingredients and attention to detail. My highest recommendation.

Antipasti and canoli on the bar top. One of the few late-night gems serving food past midnight. Cap the night with the "House Cappuccino 1919." I recommend.
Ok but not great
One of the most delicious food I've had . Imaginative, creative, takes risks and yet is down to earth. This place is big. Who puts praline on a sea urchin pasta!!? Well, this guys and it works just perfect.
