Perfect little jewel of a bar that serves espresso and negroni all day. The service, design, music, glassware -- all make you feel transported onto a timeless cloud.

Your kind of spot. (Because you like nice things.)
Nice newish addition to the Marylebone dining scene, with Italian and French inspired dishes. Focaccia w pesto was fantastic and the gazpacho was also quite good. Photo via website.

Lovely spot for a walk when the weather's fine. Take the ferry. Navel (naval?) gaze at the meridian.
Want to go. ...I think.
Nothing fancy but a great view over the canal in Little Venice.
Soup and espresso under the train tracks. Atmospheric hipster local. Wifi password: BORODINSKY. Feel I should dust off my Soviet studies PhD for that one
Tiki-themed cocktail bar for the Mayfair set.

Love this classy- quasi-dive. Sunday night jazz (could also be called early-Monday morning jazz) was as impressive for the packed crowd of very cool people as for the music. You are welcome.

Classic London Indian food - love the vista on the wall
Want to go. Upmarket on the canal
Some of the best cocktails in the city hidden in a townhouse speakeasy in Chinatown. Get yourself past the door and a beautiful, convivial crowd awaits.

Supposed to be excellent dim sum. Want to go!
Peking duck (not pictured) was particularly tasty. Tanks of handcuffed crabs stare at you when you walk in. Makes me sad. Presumably makes you sea-food eaters/torturers salivate.
Simple, very good, breakfast
Excellent Italian, per Roma. Antonio is a treat!
Tasty and fresh, mostly eastern Med cuisine. Casual.
Great Iranian restaurant. Hand-baked bread is always a good choice, should also try the chicken and minced lamb skewers.
Want to go for Persian food.
The latest Balasz hotel, in a restored Marylebone firehouse. Home to Nuno Mendes' latest restaurant, easily the buzziest London opening of 2014. Absolutely stunning spaces, arguably the most beautiful hotel interior I've experienced (with a shock to the wallet to match).
Want to go sample Nuno's latest

High quality fare, constantly changing menu -- temporarily under some construction as of 5/15, so make sure they've reopened before traveling
The amount of Italian being spoken in this cute BYOB pizzeria when I walked in was immediately encouraging. The pizza dough was light, the ingredients as fresh as the clientele.
Acceptable coffee and pastries. Japanese food also available.
IMHO, Gelupo produces the best ice cream in central London. Try the ricotta and chocolate...it's da morire.

Gymkhana far surpassed anything I thought Indian food could be! The tasting menu was divine. Favorites were the kid goat, chick pea and potato, pomegranate raita, and an otherworldly saffron pistachio ice cream concoction!

Arguably the best cocktails in London. Speakeasy with great flair in execution, beautiful composition, friendly service. Live music Tue-Sat.
Very much want to go.
Cozy cocktail bar in a vintage style, friendlier than your average speakeasy. Their interpretation of a prairie oyster is a remarkable experience. Enjoyed the Terroir here with Eunji Choi.
Want to go, but scared of the "prairie oysters."
Tasty spot, nicely situated in exmouth market
"The chef must be in love." Isn't that the excuse for too much salt? Oh well - otherwise nice digs for a casual encounter of classy origins. Glass-ceilinged atrium inside courtyard of venerable museum.
Always enjoyed the funky charm and table football at the Shoreditch location, this looks right in the same spirit.
